How we make these reports
- Every number links to the public source it came from, such as the FBI or the North Carolina Department of Justice. If we cannot trace a figure, we leave it out.
- Each report ends with practical steps written for a 10 to 250 person business, and each edition keeps its own page so the numbers you cite do not change underneath you.
- If a future edition includes data from PDC's own free tools, it will be aggregated and anonymized, no group smaller than five organizations will ever be shown, and the method will be printed on the report.
