Do you only work with manufacturers?
No. Manufacturing is our main focus and where our PDC Software ERP is used. Preferred Data, founded in 1987, writes and supports the PDC Software Suite, and we support any North Carolina business or nonprofit that wants managed IT, security, networks, cloud or backup. The plans and the security baseline are the same for every industry.
Is pricing different by industry?
No. Every industry is served on the same three managed IT plans, priced per user per month, with the equipment we manage counted during a free quote. What changes is the scope, such as a warehouse network or an ERP, which is quoted in writing before work starts.
Do you help with industry compliance requirements?
We supply the technical safeguards common rules expect: every plan includes MFA, 24/7 threat detection and response, patching, training and restore-tested backup, and Preferred Complete includes CMMC and NIST 800-171 readiness management.
